Fire Safety Awareness Training

Course Overview

This FAA-regulated qualification is designed for all employees as an introduction to fire awareness and is a valuable addition to an induction programme for new staff.

This theory-based course provides a solid foundation for employees who want to develop their basic fire safety awareness in order to assist their employer by undertaking more specific fire safety roles in the workplace to manage fire risk. The qualification provides learners with an understanding of the key principles of fire safety from cause to prevention and response.

During the course, participants will learn:

• how fires are caused
• to understand the key elements of fire risk assessment
• what actions to take in the event of fire to maximise safety and protect their environment

This qualification does not expire, but we would recommend re-qualification every three years.
