Your information is shared with Prince’s Trust Phoenix Services staff, Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service, Cornwall Council, Devon Adventure Training Residential Provider. This information is shared for reporting, attendance on the Princes Trust and Health & Safety Purposes.

Your express consent is given when completing the Princes Trust Referral Form and selecting the confirmation box at the bottom of the form.

Booking System – Events

Your information is shared with Phoenix Services, Cornwall Fire & Rescue Services and Cornwall Council. This information is shared for reporting, coordination of courses or services you may have booked onto and occasional marketing.

Your express consent is gained when you book onto a course.

Shop Sales

Your information is shared with Phoenix Services, Cornwall Fire & Rescue Services and Cornwall Council. This information is shared for reporting, coordination of courses or services you may have booked onto.

 

Your express consent is gained when you purchase a product.

 

Why we collect and use this information

Cornwall Fire & Rescue collects and uses Users personal information for the following purposes:

  • To improve customer service
    Your information helps us to more effectively respond to your customer service requests and support needs.
  • To improve our Site
    We continually strive to improve our website offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you.
  • To process transactions
    We will use the information Users provide about themselves when placing an order only to provide service to that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.
  • To administer a content, promotion, survey or other Site feature
    To send Users information they agreed to receive about topics we think will be of interest to them.
  • To send periodic emails
    The email address Users provide for order processing, will only be used to send them information and updates pertaining to their order. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries, and/or other requests or questions.

Article 6(1)(a) the data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes;

The collection and use of the above personal information is that it is required for reporting and accounting purposes for three years post transaction.

 

Storing this information

Your data is stored on our site until you unsubscribe or delete your account.  We cleanse our data annually so if you’re account is inactive for a period of 36 months or more it will be deleted. (36 months is in line with regulatory reminders for qualifications with a 36 month expiration period).

 

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our site.
Our site is also in compliance with PCI vulnerability standards in order to create as secure of an environment as possible for Users.

  • have it deleted (where we do not have a legal requirement to retain it)

Cornwall Fire & Rescue has the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time. When we do, revise the updated date at the bottom of this page, send you an email. We encourage users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.
